Some of our exceptional project work includes:

• Assisting the Utah Department of Transportation with improving its project management procedures for design and construction. As a part of this multi-year project, we developed and implemented a "cradle-to-grave" project management function. We also evaluated existing project management procedures and support tools. This evaluation provided the required mechanisms, tools, and procedures to ensure the project’s continuity through all stages, from the initial design concept to preconstruction to letting.
  
• Establishing customer-driven performance measures for maintenance management in the Arizona Department of Transportation. This involved conducting public opinion surveys and focus groups to establish customer priorities and customer-driven performance objectives. The resulting feedback was used to develop a series of service measures for various maintenance management activities. We operationalized these measures to document maintenance performance; the measures were used to establish a performance-based budget for the maintenance program. This approach was later broadened to address asset management. Part of the work also involved evaluating asset management software and data requirements.
